What is Ghost Scanner?
Ghost Scanner is a portable emergency vehicle alert and tracker detection system with a phone-based display. It brings signal strength, visual alerts, activity history and tracker scanning into one interface.
Does the phone work on its own?
No. Your phone is the display and control interface for the Ghost Scanner device. The £699 system includes the device and app access; it is not a standalone phone download.
Is there a subscription?
No. The system costs £699 with no subscription or annual renewal fee. Free lifetime software updates and ongoing support are included.
Can I use it in more than one vehicle?
Yes. Ghost Scanner is portable and can move between vehicles. Contact us with your intended setup if you want to use it across several cars or a car and van.
What is the difference from Target Blu Eye 2?
Ghost Scanner uses your phone as the display and includes tracker scanning. Target Blu Eye 2 offers LED and LCD display options for a fitted vehicle system. See the price and feature comparison for the current published figures.
Can Ghost Scanner detect every emergency vehicle?
No system can guarantee an alert for every vehicle in every situation. Detection depends on nearby activity, your surroundings and the setup. The display indicates relative strength rather than an exact distance or vehicle location.
Can it identify whether the alert is police, ambulance or fire?
An emergency alert does not identify the service or individual vehicle. Use it as an additional awareness cue; it does not show a live map of police cars or play emergency-service conversations.
Can it find AirTags and hidden trackers?
Ghost Scanner can scan for compatible nearby trackers, including AirTag-style devices. A result is a reason to investigate, not proof that a device is attached to your car or following you. See tracker detection for what the feature can and cannot tell you.
Can I choose the app colours?
Yes. Choose Cyan, Green, Red, Amber, Violet or Ice. The layout stays familiar while the panels and accents change colour. Explore the themes on the Ghost Scanner app page.
How do I order?

How easy is Ghost Scanner to fit?
The physical setup takes seconds: plug the compact device into your cigarette lighter socket or USB power and attach the small antenna to your windscreen. Your phone is the display. No battery hardwiring, firewall cable routing or under-bonnet antenna installation is needed.
Can I use Ghost Scanner whilst walking?
Yes. The portable system can be used whilst walking with suitable portable power and your phone as the display. It is not permanently fitted to your vehicle.
