Ghost Scanner / Car data

Live car data.
Coming soon. Free for every owner.

A simple USB to OBD2 cable lets Ghost Scanner read your vehicle’s diagnostic port and show warning lights, oil temperature, speed and more on the display you already use. There is no extra charge. Every customer gets the upgrade.

USB to OBD2

Plug in. Read the car. New tools follow.

Ghost Scanner already watches the road around you. Next, it can watch the car itself — using the same port mechanics use for diagnostics, through a simple USB to OBD2 cable.

  • Connect Ghost Scanner to the OBD2 port under the dash with a USB to OBD2 cable.
  • See live data such as warning lights, oil temperature, speed, engine rpm and similar readings the vehicle reports.
  • New features and tools can be added later as free software updates — not paid add-ons.

No extra cost · All customers get the upgrade

Included with the system you already buy

You do not pay again for car data. The software that reads the OBD2 port is planned as a free update for every Ghost Scanner customer — people who already own a unit, and people who buy one now. There is no subscription and no unlock fee.

A simple USB to OBD2 cable is all that is needed to join Ghost Scanner to the car’s diagnostic port. Live values then sit on the same phone or wireless CarPlay screen you use for emergency alerts.

What you will be able to see

The first tools are built around everyday car data: dashboard warning lights, oil temperature, speed, engine rpm and other readings the vehicle already reports. More tools can follow as software updates, still at no extra cost.

Which readings appear depends on the car. Ghost Scanner can only display what that vehicle’s OBD2 port provides. It is a live view and a set of practical tools — not a replacement for a garage diagnosis, and not a claim that every car exposes every sensor.

What we will not over-claim

Car data is not available yet. This page will be updated when the feature ships. Until then, Ghost Scanner continues to provide emergency vehicle awareness, compatible tracker scanning and anti-hack monitoring from the same portable device.

Before launch

Useful answers.

Is live car data available now?

Not yet. It is a planned Ghost Scanner update. This page will be updated when the feature is ready.

Will I pay extra for OBD tools?

No. There is no extra cost. Every Ghost Scanner customer gets the upgrade — existing owners included.

Do I need a new Ghost Scanner?

No. The car-data tools are intended as a software upgrade for the system you already own. You connect it with a simple USB to OBD2 cable.

Will it work on every car?

Most petrol and diesel cars from the mid-2000s onwards have an OBD2 port. The exact warning lights and sensor readings you see depend on what that vehicle reports. We will not claim a full list until the feature ships.
